Your first visit to LIONS Orthodontics is relaxed, informative and free. It’s your chance to meet Dr. Sean Zar and our team, ask every question on your mind, and leave with a clear picture of your options. There’s no pressure and no obligation.
Your Visit, Step by Step
- A warm welcome. Our team will greet you, show you around our Glen Cove office and learn about your goals for your smile.
- Photos and digital scans. We’ll take photos and quick, comfortable digital scans of your teeth (no goopy impressions), plus X-rays if they’re needed.
- Your exam with Dr. Zar. Dr. Zar will look closely at your teeth, bite and jaws, and explain what he sees in plain language.
- Your personalized plan. If treatment is recommended, Dr. Zar will walk you through your options, from Invisalign to LightForce and InSmile hidden braces, and how long treatment is likely to take.
- Cost and payment options. Our team will go over your fee, our flexible payment plans and how to use your insurance benefits. Learn more on our Financing & Insurance page.
How to Prepare
- Fill out any new patient forms we send you before your visit.
- Bring your insurance card if your plan includes orthodontic benefits.
- Write down any questions you’d like to ask.
- If your child is the patient, a parent or guardian should come along.
