Every smile is different, so your fee depends on your personalized treatment plan. At your free consultation, Dr. Sean Zar will evaluate your smile and recommend the right treatment. Then our team will walk you through the total cost and your payment options before you commit to anything.

Flexible Ways to Pay
- Pay in full and save. Prefer to take care of it upfront? You’ll receive a discount when you pay for treatment in full.
- In-house monthly payment plans. Spread the cost of treatment over time with easy monthly payments made automatically, so there’s nothing to remember.
- Credit cards. We accept major credit cards.
- HSA payments. Use your Health Savings Account to pay for treatment with pre-tax dollars.
Using Your Insurance
Good news: if your plan includes orthodontic benefits, you can use them at LIONS Orthodontics. We work with every insurance plan that has orthodontic coverage. We just don’t join any of their networks, and here’s why.
Orthodontic benefits usually work a little differently than other dental coverage. Most plans pay a set lifetime amount toward braces or aligners, and for almost all plans that amount is the same whether your orthodontist is in network or out of network. So in most cases, your benefit stays the same with us. We’ll even help you file your claims so you get every dollar your plan provides.
Why We Stay Independent
Joining an insurance network means letting the insurance company decide what treatment is worth. Staying independent lets us focus on what’s best for your smile:
- Premium materials and more options. We use top-quality materials and offer advanced treatments like LightForce custom 3D-printed braces, InSmile hidden braces and Invisalign, so you can choose the option that fits your life, not just the one a plan covers.
- Care tailored to your smile. No two smiles are alike. Some need a few months of simple adjustments, while others need more time and attention to get just right. Setting our own fees lets us give every patient exactly the care their smile needs, with a fee that fairly reflects that care.
- Your care comes first. We never want an insurance contract to affect the quality of care you receive. Staying independent means your treatment, your time with the doctor and the materials we use are never shaped by a plan’s fee limits. Every decision is made between you and your orthodontist.
